A new dawn for Philips DTC

Project Voyager is a ground up reimagining of Philips digital touch points. At its core the idea is to create emotional connection with the product by focussing on the benefits of its use. This was a huge step for Philips and their first foray into digital storytelling. My role was to create the kinetic glue to hold this experience together, and imagine the components that could deliver it.

core ideas

We created the system around core behaviours derived directly from Philip’s brand values

Part of the challenge of taking a client where they have not been before is giving them the language to have that conversation. As we built the motion system we distilled its core behaviours into simple demonstrations. Once the links to the brand were clear. We applied the language to real components. Taking it step by step was critical in demonstrating the value that motion adds.
