Joshua is an extremely talented and thoughtful motion and allround designer. He has excellent presentation skills and can communicate a compelling design rationale, as well as take on board feedback to allow contributors to shape the platform strategically. Josh thinks deeply about the 'why' of motion design and he can bridge the gap from brand all the way to development, creating extensive documentation and motion design system implementations so developers can actually implement his concepts. Joshua was one of the central designers on the digital redesign of Odido, establishing a motion language to unite the digital experience. I can't recommend Josh enough and would love to work with him again in future.

First of all, working with Joshua on the OneBrand was an absolute pleasure. Joshua took the lead for a big project we were working on, and did that extremely well. He also gave me lots of trust in regards to my tasks (no micromanaging but just making sure he was there when I bumped into any issues). He was also not scared to give me feedback, which really helped me in my growth.

I saw Joshua maneuvering all the designs into approvals, page by page. I really admire his eye for detail and thinking process, everything was super well considered. Even though a huge task like this could potentially be overwhelming, he stayed very chill and in-control and he always created time for me when I had any questions.

I also noticed Joshua is always honest and not scared to say things (also in bigger meetings/groups). I really enjoyed working together, I can honestly say Joshua is one of the few people I would want to work more often with (I felt relaxed, open and I think learned the most from him in this month during my time at Code).
